About Dox...

Dox is a FREE documentation template (MIT License), allowing anyone with a basic knowledge of HTML to get on with producing great documentation without having to worry about structure or style.

Dox is written in HTML and CSS making it easy to work with, set up a navigation link, create a new section, and you are ready to start adding your content.

Dox features a static side bar enabling easy access to all sections of your documentation along with "Top of section" jump links allowing for fast navigation.

Dox uses a selection of CSS variables to control all its main styles, making it easy to match Dox to your individual or company branding.

Navigation

Navigation in Dox is provided by the fixed position sidebar, giving users easy access to all sections of your documentation.

Sections

Sections in Dox separate one set of instructions from another, and can be jumped between using the sidebar navigation.

Alerts

Alerts allow you to draw attention to certain instructions and give them a danger, warning, or success status.

Images

Dox can give your images an optional style treatment, helping them stand out, and giving your screenshots some consistency.

Steps

Sometimes its necessary to break instructions down, Dox makes it easy to separate content in to smaller steps.

Code highlighting

If your product requires some code input you will need syntax highlighting, Dox has this built in and ready to go.
